I'm a dark abyss, a void of my past,
In my dark abyss, I'm alone on this path.
So slowly I rot in dismay,
As I watch my mental health decay,
I'm numb, lost in my apathy like a castaway,
Will I ever find another way?

Madness within I know it's too late,
But will I return back? Am I gone?
Return back to a place I belong,
Still I can't see the light at the end,
Is it always so dark outside?
Or is the passage getting more narrow as I ascend,
I fear constant failure although I know I'm wrong,
As I keep climbing, my darker half still trails along.
